So, I had big plans on Friday to go the State Fair and see everything and eat everything in sight... well I ended up sick. I still went with Tiffany and Janine, we had been planning for months, Janine bought me tickets to see Heart and Def Leopard at the Night show. I did my best to make it all day at the fair, I might been a bit bitchy and probably didn't enjoy the show as much as I would have liked.
Now, first off, I am not nor I have ever been a huge hair band fan so this was really stepping outside of my box but I figured it would be fun. Heart, rocked it! I loved their part of the show and as far as I am concerned they could have just stayed on stage all night. Def Leopard was good and I did recognize a few songs, unfortunately it was during their part of the show that my medicine wore off and I was miserable.
I guess another visit to the State Fair over the next week will be in order, I need to make up for last Friday and take care of a few traditions - milking a goat, eating 2 crepes and a few other things - fried pickles, you aren't free yet!
So where to the blues come in? Due to my own reluctance to deal with it, my financial aid issues haven't been resolved, so I won't be starting school on Tuesday. I am extremely bummed and disappointed.
